The holiday break is a magical time to relax, spend time with family… and, let's be honest, get out of our routines a little! In Episode 16 of the Kick's Cheer Podcast, the team shares simple, motivating (and even fun!) ideas for staying active and ready for the new season.

During the holidays, we don't always have access to the gym, the team, or the coaches. And that's perfectly okay. It's the perfect opportunity to explore other ways to move. Doing little routines at home with friends, going to an open gym, or even inventing a choreography in your living room allows you to stay in shape without pressure. The key word? Fun!



🤸♂️ Flexibility: not just in the body


Cheer isn't just about intense practices and competitions. There's also an important creative and social dimension. Continuing to practice freely helps fuel your passion for the sport and prevents you from burning out. Improvised routines, challenges with friends, or active games are all effective ways to maintain your connection to cheer—in a different way.



🎯 Balance: training, rest, pleasure


Staying active is great, but recharging your batteries is just as essential. The team reminds us of the importance of taking care of ourselves during the holidays: sleeping well, eating what we love (without guilt!), spending time with our loved ones and... disconnecting from the world of cheer. It's by finding a good balance that we come back even stronger for the new school year!
